Abstract
Propagation of a plane harmonic wave within space-periodic layered bianisotropic media is considered. Propagation and unpropagation conditions are studied analytically by translation matrix method. Analogous approach has been used for analysis of unpropagation region boundaries in isotropic media. For example, periodic two-layered medium is considered. The propagation diagrams are plotted for both a right-polarization and a left-polarization eigenwaves.
