Based upon the study of the importance of integrations in the cross-border acquisitions by the Chinese enterprises, the paper points out that integration is the most dangerous stage in cross-border acquisition because the initial management chaos together with the problems hidden during the transaction stage turn up and converge to negatively impact during the integration of the acquired company. To solve the expected and unexpected problems and avoid cultural conflicts, the preparation and arrangement of integration shall be started from due diligence and put into the entire acquisition process. The paper also discusses that the small-scale pilot projects during the integration process are effective ways of realizing the seamless transfer of the ownership and management.
