Abstract
This paper presents the modelling of microstrip antennas of abitrary shape with a two dimensional multiresolution method of moment (MRMoM). A Chui-Haar 2D multiresolution basis is used for the expansion of surface currents and for the testing procedure in the MRMoM. An original technique is proposed to model metallisations of arbitrary shape. The capabilities of the approach are illustrated with the simulation of a circularly polarised patch antenna and a sequentially rotated array.
