According to the characteristics of the equipment manufacturing industry innovation capability, innovation capability to establish the equipment manufacturing industry evaluation index system, using the 2007 National Bureau of Statistics released the seven sub-sectors of China´s equipment manufacturing industry, the relevant statistical data to construct a factor analysis evaluation model, of 31 provinces, municipalities, the innovative capability of the equipment manufacturing industry to conduct a comparative analysis of various regions to obtain equipment manufacturing innovation capability comprehensive evaluation and sorting order of precedence of the situation, then the analysis results of the corresponding conclusions. Finally, according to China´s equipment manufacturing capability of independent innovation and strong performance in a targeted manner proposed to increase the innovation capability of China´s equipment manufacturing industry recommendations.
