Abstract
Current real time systems with heavy computation loads and unpredictable event sequences are being constructed with mechanisms and policies that permit them to adjust to new environmental conditions. We present a framework for the real time synthesis of multimedia artifacts and an application PARSYNTH, which utilizes the libraries specified in the framework. Our results indicate that PARSYNTH generates digital audio artifacts within real time constraints
