Author_Institution :
Hewlett-Packard Co., Cupertino, CA, USA
Abstract :
Open Distributed Computing is Hewlett-Packard´s solution to cooperative computing in a multi-vendor, heterogeneous environment. A set of architectural specifications we call the overall architecture guides the implementation of such an enterprise information processing system. This document summarizes the three main components of the overall Architecture-User Roles, the Hewlett-Packard Open Distributed Computing Architectural Framework and IT Processes. If introduces the Architectural Framework and Reference Architectures
