Abstract
A new clutter rejection method is introduced in the rotated space-time domain for airborne radar. Prior knowledge of platform velocity is used to determine clutter ridge slope in the space-time domain and a corresponding rotation is performed to make the clutter ridge horizontal. This clutter can be removed by zeroing out a central strip in the resulting image, i.e. MTI processing and target can be detected by subsequent thresholding.
