Abstract :
This paper proposes an SU controller based on the H2/H∞ norm formulation to address the data traffic control issues in the Transport Layer of the AQM Network. The SU controller arises from the incorporation of the S (Sensitivity) function and the U (Input Sensitivity) function along with their associated weight functions. It keeps the robust steady-state performance of the H∞ controller, but uses H2 formulation in addition to improve the transient performance. We have evaluated the robustness and transient performances of this controller to show the improvement over the same controller with the H∞ formulation only. We have also compared it with the PI-controller.
