  • Abstract
    We propose and demonstrate a silicon photonic integrated circuit for coupling to the modes of a novel radially single-mode and azimuthally multimode ring-core fiber (RCF). All the RCF modes may be selectively excited by a star-coupler-fed circular grating coupler.
