Abstract :
Money-lending business is one of the traditional businesses of commercial banks; it is also the main source of income of commercial banks. This article will analyze the efficiency of Chinese commercial banks´ money lending business, application of data envelopment analysis (DEA). After a series of analyze, we could draw the conclusion that the difference of lending business´s efficiency between different Chinese commercial banks is not dramatic, most found in the fund utilization efficiency. Moreover, with application of DEA, there will be some solution to increase the efficiency of commercial lending business.
