Abstract :
Recent researches indicate stock market development largely benefited from effective law enforcement for investors. This paper compares law enforcement effectiveness internationally across 49 countries´ legal origin, focusing on influence of resource investment in law enforcement had on the stock market development. Research shows public enforcement and private enforcement work hand in hand to provide essential protection for investors and the development of stock market.
