Abstract :
A broadband phased array based on intentionally introduce mutual coupling between the periodic elements is designed and presented in this paper. The design conception is fundamentally different from the design of the traditional broadband arrays. Simulated results and partially measured results show that the array can be used to obtain wideband impedance and pattern bandwidth.
