Abstract :
Wireless sensor networks are networks for collecting environment information in specific area using sensor nodes with low power. The process of sensor networks is a multiphase process compromised of sensing environment, transmitting the sensing data to neighbor nodes, collecting it from nodes for aggregating, and processing it for a request. As sensor networks have a feature which can have many similar data between adjacent nodes, they use a clustering method which sets up a cluster heads, collects many similar data from member nodes in a local cluster and sends the collected data to sink by cluster heads. A clustering method of sensor networks needs to equally distribute member nodes to a cluster head because of affecting the number of member nodes in a local cluster to the energy consumption of a cluster head, a local cluster and sensor network. So, this paper proposes how to set up a local cluster with optimal member nodes in wireless sensor networks.
