Abstract
Impedance matching and nulling performances of miniature GPS arrays loaded with split ring resonators (SRRs) are presented. Specifically, a 2×1 GPS array consisting of electrically small coupled double loop antennas is strategically loaded with SRRs to reduce the mutual coupling without significantly affecting the impedance matching. Simulated results for SRR loaded and conventional uniform arrays demonstrate that significant improvement in null depth (10 dB) can be achieved.
