Abstract :
In this paper, we report on the experimental results on the supercontinuum generation with photonic crystal fibers (PCF) applying ultrafast laser system. Broad spectra can be efficiently generated by using femtosecond ytterbium fiber lasers operating around 1 mum in the high power regime of parabolic pulses (similaritons), and therefore without the need of additional amplifiers.
