Abstract :
Activity participation and time choice research is help for understanding the basis of travelers´ behavior decision-making. Based on the surveyed travel data of Jilin city, travelers´ time choice behaviors of non working activities were analysis by employing a duration model, which calculated the hazard ratios of activity participation in different time spans and provided some useful information regarding the factors that influence the activity start time, such as traveler´ gender, salary or other socio-demographics. The results show that the duration model could anticipate the choice probabilities of non working activity in different time span and provide some valuable advises to transportation programming and management.
