Abstract
In this paper, mixed potential electric integral equation (MPIE) and the method of moments (MOM) are used to analyze the horizontal log-periodic dipole antenna (LPDA) array over ground plane. The microwave network theory is applied to deal with the excitation. The direct discrete complex image method (DCIM) and a quick way are applied to calculate the Sommerfeld integral in the near and far region respectively. At last, we get the direction graphs of the antenna, which is rather satisfied.
