Abstract
The World Game 2009 has been the first mega sport event hosted by Taiwan. The public is concerned about the economic and noneconomic benefits contributed by this game. This paper analyzed its economic benefits by investigating the total amount of spending made by foreign tourists; foreign tourists´ perception toward the game was examined to understand the noneconomic benefits of this game. The government is recommended to pay more attention to the post use of sport venues.
