A unbonded prestressed cylindrical water treatment cistern was calculated with software ANSYS and tabular method in this paper and the results including the internal force and deformation of pool wall shown that the tabular method cannot be used to calculate the water treatment cistern in the stage of prestress tensioning and the construction of wall and floor of water treatment cistern was close to rigid connection.
