Abstract :
The reasonable, moderate scale of fixed asset investment in transportation is the important factor that influences the growth of industrial economy, and the optimal, balanced structure of fixed asset investment in transportation is the premises that increases investment benefit. And statistics of fixed asset investment in transportation is the effective means of reflecting this kind of phenomenon, relationship and operation rule. In China, transportation statistics is mainly controlled by administrative departments since they have special institution and stable source. By summarizing the demand and supply of statistical information of fixed asset investment in transportation, analyzing adaptability of index system, data quality and informatization level, management strategy and suggestion on strengthening official statistics ability are proposed which are about statistics planning, data evaluation standardization, and promotion of exchange and sharing mechanism of statistical data with furthering informatization.
