Abstract :
Firstly, aimed at the existing problem of reconfigurable assembly line (RAL) balancing, the characteristics of RAL are analyzed and the special requirements of balancing are studied. Secondly, the mathematical model is proposed based on two factors, which are integrated including the cycle time and the assembly line efficiency. Then a new hybrid genetic algorithm is developed for finding optimal solution of the problems. Finally, example verification is carried out, and which indicates the validity of the proposed algorithm.
