Abstract :
A new kind of compact planar dual-circular polarized microstrip array for millimeter wave module was proposed in this paper. The antenna can radiate left/right hand polarized wave depending on different feeding port which was selected. The simple modelling of this antenna and design method has been developed. Two different 3D simulation tools were employed to validate the design method of the array. Simulated results acquired from both 3D simulation tools exhibit good performance of the return loss and axial ratio. The gain of the array is about 8 dBi.
