Abstract
Instantaneous frequency and time-delay measured accurately are important technologies for high precise underwater positioning. In order to prevent the leakage interference from other frequency channels, variability of instantaneous frequency sequence (VIFS) calculation and frequency estimations were adopted. The synchronous positioning model (spherical) combined with asynchronously model (hyperbolical) overcomes the ambiguous ranging for high rate trace. At last, the results of the sea experiment were provided, that met with the theory.
