Abstract :
Gathering user requirement is one the most critical task in almost every project development. Complete requirements of the user cannot be perceived at a given point of time. The reason is that they evolve with time, mostly they are observed after the system deployment. This evolutionary nature of user´s requirements poses difficulties in almost every phase of software development process of any project. The work of this paper gives an approach to overcome this problem. In this paper, the software intelligent agents are proposed for hospital environment. Algorithms of each agent is also proposed and implemented. These agents are automated in gathering user requirements and automatically evolve over time after deployment of the software. The evolving nature of agents helps agent based systems to enhance automatically their capabilities according to the user ever changing behavior. The intelligent agent is applied in hospital management system (HMS). Four agents and their algorithms has been proposed and implemented that gathers requirements of the user that are related to HMS after deployment of HMS software. Four agents for hospital environment are Patient Agent, Doctor Agent, Nurse Agent and Environment Agent.
