Abstract
We consider the uplink transmission of a coded MC-CDMA system in the presence of carrier frequency offsets. Based on a vector transmission model the impacts of these frequency offsets are analyzed and a downlink carrier frequency offset estimation and compensation scheme is proposed for use in the uplink. At the base station a linear minimum mean square error multiuser detector is employed to suppress the multiuser interference caused by the frequency estimation errors as well as by multipath propagation.
