Abstract :
A slot dipole antenna with polarization diversity for wireless local area networks application is proposed. The proposed design has a very simple antenna structure. The two orthogonal polarizations of the proposed antenna are excited by the two modes of the coplanar waveguide feed, making the overall dimension compact. Details of the antenna design and simulation and measurement results are presented and discussed.
