Abstract
Real-time evaluation of mixed rate DWDM transmission of 112 Gb/s PM-QPSK signals over 1072 km CD managed link shows a penalty from nonlinear distortions below 0.14 dB with 43 Gb/s PM-BPSK and PM-QPSK neighbors and 0.81 dB with 10.7 Gb/s neighbors.
