Abstract
This paper presents a MIMO antenna design to enhance channel capacity in an indoor base station (BS), and the measurement performance. In our approach, dual-polarization and directional antennas are applied for BS, and design guidelines of half-power beam width (HPBW), downward tilt angle, and beam direction are determined. Then, a patch array is fabricated on the basis of this design guideline, and the measurement MIMO performance is presented.
