  • Abstract
The principle and test method of coaxial pulse probe are discussed in this paper. Coaxial pulse probe, which is composed of a section of hard coaxial cable and electric field sensor embedded in it, is used to measure the waveform of conducted pulse current and voltage. For coaxial pulse probe, because of no magnetic core, the performance of high frequency response and voltage endurance is superior to the common current probe. So coaxial pulse probe is of advantage in conducted pulse measurement. This paper adopts software compensation method in frequency domain to calibrate coaxial pulse probe. The error rate between test results and actual waveform data is less than fifteen percent.
