Research on quantificational appraisal of commercial banker´s Competitive Power

In recent years, Ningbo has attracted more and more commercial banks to enter and be stationed in because of its good environment for financial development, and competition among commercial banks in Ningbo has become fiercer and fiercer. This thesis makes quantificational appraisal with six major commercial banks´ competitive power from nine aspects such as market share of loans, rate of non-performing loan, growth rate of assets and so on. By applying gray relational analysis, this research ranks the competitive power of the major six banks. Competitive power of Ningbo Branch of Industrial and Commercial Bank of China ranks the first among the six, and it strengthens competitiveness mainly by diversified operation and optimizing its assets business structure. Ningbo Branch of Construction Bank of China ranks the second in competiveness, and it improves competiveness mainly by strengthening exposure management and innovating product services. Ningbo Branch of Bank of China ranks the third; it enhances competiveness briefly by optimizing credit structure and expanding liabilities business.
