Abstract :
The effects of edge reflection on a finite-size bi-directional leaky wave antenna is analysed. The equivalent field distribution and far field patterns for a finite-size bi-directional leaky wave antenna is analytically derived. Simulations results show the edge reflection may significantly affect the beam splitting condition and the directivity in certain condition.
