Base on GIS-ERDAS of the evolution of structure of per capital GDP of Economic Belt of the Northern of Tianshan Moutains

This paper studies the evolution of the spatial pattern of economic structure of the Economic Belt of the Northern of Tianshan Moutains in Xinjiang in 1978–2007 with the relative information and data by the combination of methods of ESDA-AcrGis. The results showed that: (1)The economic pattern of EBNSTM in the study period is not obvious change, and the economic differences had reduced in 1978–1990 and rapidly had expanded in 1990–1995. (2)The economic center as Urumqi, Karamay and Shihezi cities are in the accumulation stage, and have been weak diffusion to the surrounding counties. The “Space Matthew” in the cities and countries of economy backward are effecting significantly. (3)Both differences in resource endowments and economic development strategy are the important factors to the evolution of economic structure of EBNSTM.
