Abstract :
A composite right/left-handed (CRLH) leaky-wave antenna (LWA) with polarization diversity using equalized common-mode (CM) and differential-mode (DM) responses in terms of S-parameters and radiation patterns is presented. Compared to a previous work, which employed CRLH LWAs with common shunt stubs and vias, resulting in un-equalized CM and DM responses and subsequent squinting, the presented structure employs split shunt stubs and vias to achieve the desired equalized responses with mitigated squinting.
