Abstract :
The radiation of a line source is extended to analyze the radiation fields of bond wire antennas with basic antenna theory. The comparison of numerical and simulation results shows in good agreement. The presented estimation method provides a quick way for antenna engineers to design bond wire antennas with appropriate main beam directions, which are useful in inter-chip wireless communications.
