Abstract
This paper provides new LMI-based conditions for stability and H∞ performance analysis and state-feedback synthesis of rational linear parameter varying systems (LPV). Such systems are equivalently recast as affine descriptor LPV systems. Sufficient LMI-based conditions for stability and H∞ performance are then proposed based on a descriptor representation. These conditions are given in terms of dilated strict LMIs. A numerical example is provided to illustrate the efficiency of the proposed conditions.
