  • Abstract
    Dissimilar ship paint has the different ability for antisepsis and defending dirty, the paint also has dissimilar influence to the ship economy. From the point of the life cycle cost (LCC), the antisepsis expenses models were established. The models include LCC calculation model, paint quantity calculation model and the area of paint calculation model etc. Taking some specified ship as a research object, the four projects of painting were established. The LCC of the four paint projects were calculated through using the LCC technique. Comprehensive comparison is made form the principle of the paint, effect of defending dirty, comprehensive performance etc., and the best paint project is confirmed.
