Abstract
K.L. Brown´s (1971) TRANSPORT is a first- and second-order matrix multiplication computer program intended for the design of accelerator beam transport systems, neglecting the third order aberration. Recently a new method was developed to derive analytically any order aberration coefficients of a general charged particle optic system, applicable to any practical system. An artificial intelligence program in Turbo Prolog was implemented on an IBM-PC to generate automatically an analytical expression of aberration coefficients of any order. Based on this new method and technique, Brown´s TRANSPORT is extended beyond the second order aberration effects.<>
