Abstract
Fibre reinforced epoxies absorb water by diffusion processes. Since the dielectric properties may be badly wasted by moisture, more knowledge on the mechanism of interaction is needed On the basis of molecular quantities like polarizability and dipole moment, a first approach for the calculation of humidity influence on the permittivity of pure epoxy resins is presented. Experimental results confirm the mathematical approach
