Abstract
CHP (Combined Heating &Power) is a kind of important energy efficiency and environmental protection technology. At present, China has become the 2nd largest country in terms of CHP installed capacity. The paper studied the current situation, existing problems of CHP and the market potential. It is shown that enhancing CHP industry will bring an energy conservation capacity of 100 Mtce by 2010 which may make great contribution to realize China´s energy conservation goal. On the basis of were the analysis of the current situation and existing problems of CHP industry, the policy recommendations to promote China´s CHP industry were proposed in this paper.
