Study on the Vendor Selection Index System of Iron and Steel Industry for Green Purchasing

As the source of the green supply chain, green purchasing plays an important role in improving the industries financial and environmental performance. This paper studied the vendor selection of iron and steel enterprises in the point of green purchasing. Through the survey among the enterprises and factor analysis by SPSS, twenty eight critical factors are identified and the green vendor selection index system is proposed. Data analysis shows the index system is reliable and effective.
