Abstract :
A model of distributed GIS-oriented multiagent system named as geo-agents is designed and implemented. First, the classification and structure of agents in distributed GIS are analyzed and then the communication mode, architecture and distributed mode of geo-agents are discussed. Lastly, a sample use of geo-agents is explored: spatial decision support system.
