  • Abstract
This paper proposed an image steganalysis scheme based on the differential image histogram in frequency domain. The difference is calculated in three directions, horizontal, vertical and diagonal towards adjacent pixels to obtain three-directional differential images for a natural image. Then the features for steganalysis are extracted from the DFT of the histogram of differential images and divided into low and high frequency bands. Support vector machine (SVM) with RBF kernel is applied as classifier to distinguish between stego images and cover images. We test the performance of our proposed steganalysis method over spread spectrum (SS) data hiding method, LSB method and QIM data hiding method. The experiment results have proved that the proposed method is effective in attacking these steganograhic schemes applied in spatial domain.
