Abstract :
The evolution of surface morphology of tungsten resulting from irradiation of single beam 800 nm femtosecond laser pulses is investigated. The formation of mushroom-like nano-needles on both the ridge and the valley of the ripple structure, under special pulse energy and pulse number conditions are also presented.
