Preface

The Organizing Committee of the International Conference on Advanced Computer Science Applications and Technologies ACSAT2012 - organized by Design for Scientific Renaissance (DSR) - received around 200 Research papers from all over the world (38 countries); only 125 of them were accepted. The submitted papers covered a wide range of important topics in Computer Science Applications and Technologies. The refereed articles covered mostly all tracks of the conference. All submitted papers were refereed by anonymous referees in the field of specialization. In many cases, the research papers were improved significantly based on the recommendation of the referees, to whom we would like to thank for all their efforts.
