Abstract
With the fast development of all kinds of communication technologies and the popularization of Internet, Next Generation Networks have a major impact on existing communications technology, which cover conventional PSTN (Public Switched Telephone Network) type of data and voice communications to multiple applications, consisting of voice, data and video and other new media applications. The key issue for this paper mainly discuss how to achieve the evolution of existing fixed networks into IP-based Next Generation Networks successfully and provide unprecedented cost savings and performance advantages.
