  • Abstract
Solar energy is a clean and conventional energy sources playing a vital role in today´s society in which the energy source is depleting. Taking solar power as the main power in the system, the good effect can be achieved. Through the combination treatment of circular tower biological filter (CTBF) and subsurface flow type constructed wetland (SFCW), CODcr in the effluence was less than 100mg/L stably and NH3-N was less than 30mg/L. It suggests that solar power can substitute for traditional energy to sewage treatment is feasible. However, it is still a real long way to take the solar power to replace the traditional energy in the actual project because of the poor economy.
