Abstract
The design details of integration of resistance type exercise machine with embedded computer technologies to obtain fine motion controls is reported. The developed exercise machine is capable to provide low velocity, low resistance and low range of motion in addition to higher levels. Ability to exercise at finest increment of velocity, resistance is incorporated. The user can interact with exercise machine in multiple ways using video or audio. The exercise machine can be auto-configured by transferring data to the machine via Bluetooth wireless technology. These features make exercise machine more usable and accessible for people of all ability levels.
