Analysis of Chinese Film Industry Competitiveness Based on "Diamond Model"

Under the influence of global financial crisis, how to enhance the competitiveness of the film industry has become one concern of many scholars. This paper first analyses the status quo of Chinese film industry\´s development and its competitiveness through statistical indicators; then uses "Diamond Model" as the theoretical basis to build an econometric model by selecting the seven factors that affect the competitiveness of the film industry; finally it gives policy recommendations based on the result of the analysis.
