Abstract :
The extended Metzler´s inventory cycle model of open economy is considered in this paper. The poles placement method of state feedback is applied to design the macroeconomic policy to make the output GNP grow by a certain rate. In the section of empirical research, the data of China´s economic development has been studied and the parameters of the improved Metzler´s model have been estimated in statistical and econometric methods. Finally, as an application we simulate the policy of China in The Twelfth Five-Year Plan.
