Abstract :
Geographic Information Systems (GIS) are adopted to establish a water quality standard syntaxis and water quality prediction system. The system brings about syntaxis between industrial discharge standard and water quality standard; Water quality is visually displayed and water quality prediction function is achieved in order to provide reliable basis for decision making on water resources protection and utilization.
